Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Saint Albans, WV. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University, and went on to graduate from veterinary school at The Ohio State University. After school, she returned to WV, and practiced both large and small animal medicine for 3 years, before making the switch to small animal exclusive. She purchased Stonecrest Animal Medical Center, and Ceredo Kenova Animal Clinic in January 2016, and feels very fortunate to have become a part of such a fantastic team! Dr. Johnson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in internal medicine cases, auto-immune disorders, and chemotherapy.
In her spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, and their menagerie of animals. She has grown up showing Saddlebred horses, and spends much of her free time at the barn or horse shows.
